Default Just purchased a 1999 K2500 Suburban with 7.4l engine

Looking for tips on how to make this stock vehicle better all around. Looking to do some simple modifications like 4 inch or smaller lift for slightly bigger tires and ground clearance and beefing up the suspension to support a warn 15000lbs winch on the front. Also looking at tips to help out the engine. Suburban runs great and doesn't use any oil but it has 266000 miles on it.

Look forward to reading all your tips, modifications and adventures.

    Thanks,
    Sterling

Nice truck. On my shopping list for this spring.

Just drive it like it is for a few months, take notes of anything wrong with it, get a "feel" for it, like do you really want to keep it and put $$$ into it? Doing this you will find out what kind of shape the engine/drivetrain is really in, and what it needs to remain road and off road worthy. Then plan your mods and go to town, taking care of any problem areas you discovered while driving it! Have fun!
