There has been a member or two. Be thing that i can recomend is to buy a donor truck (K2500) and transfer over all of the parts. This will ensure that you have all of the needed parts at hand. There is already a spot stamped into the floor for you to cut out for the shifter to go thru. but the Donor will have the PCM, wiring, and slave cyl, and master cylinder stuff that you will want.. ir really is as easy as unbolt from one truck and bolt into yours. For the most part there isnt any fabrication needed.

i notice that the the 3/4 ton 4x4 trucks have the 4wd shifter on the floor, my burb is push button electronic, are my suspicions right in that it will complicate/prevent a swap out ?
