Default June weekend projects & Workbench Photos in Garage

Well, I've got several shelves systems put together for my garage, but I'm going to build a few more of them today, I just went and picked up the hardware this afternoon. I'll probably paint them during the week or next weekend...

I also found some free weedeaters that didn't have the bottom spool, so I bought an aftermarket spool from Home Depot and I'll see if that works and I can sell it on craigs list and maybe make a little bit of $$ on the deal, we'll see.

Otherwise, just hanging out today and will just enjoy the nice weather.

    What's everyone else up to?

Putting new ARB leaf springs on the rear of the Tacoma, a new window motor in the drivers door of the Suburban, and mowing the lawn. Got a late start because of the Ted Nugent concert at Billy Bobs last night, might have to post pone the lawn until tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

I'm still building my 12/8 shed out in the backyard. General yard crap. Also listening to the drama of my daughter once in a while. I told her to pack a lunch and go play on the freeway. It worked she left

    Default Busy, busy, busy....

Well, we are going to the Home & Yard Show today. I borrowed the money so I'm going to enclose the patio, and add a mother in law room at the back of the garage. So June, July, and August are booked. Now where did I lay that hammer and saw?

I have to finish that horse trailer I have been working on, forever.

Just bent the 1” square tubing this morning to weld into the horse trailer and then I had to go pickup a lawn tractor I got for $200 Husqvarna LTH 130 and a little welding for the guy.

Then off to the dump, recycle, recycle, recycle.

Now that all that is done we have to get ready for our annual picnic for my daughters class. We have it every year, the kids come over and ride the horses, play with the animals and have a cook out.

Been pulling lawn furniture out of the barn and cleaning it all afternoon.

Now tomorrow all I have to do is weld the tubing in the horse trailer and wire the lights in.

Monday I have to pickup some more square tubing and build a roof for the golf cart. Anyone know anything about building with fiberglass? I want to make the roof myself with chicken wire and fiberglass.

    It never ends around here.

Got 4 shevles put together, no paint though. At least I can get stuff off the floor and use the garage as a garage again. Going to do one more for shoes and stuff next to the door.

    Default Garage is shaping up

I got most of the shelves put together. Still have to paint them, but they're up and sturdy. (yes, still need to anchor them to the wall)

Now, my folks came to town, and my dad's always looking for a project. He's helping me out by building my workbench for me. It's a 2x2 framed workbench that will be covered off with some 1x4" t&g decking. Should be a good workbench for me. It will have a shelf underneath and peg-board up high to hang all my little tooks and such.

    Here's how it's starting out.
