We actually were going to get this. The dealer was going to throw it in at a quarter of the normal price when we bought our Avalanche. It was a demo model tent, and they couldn't seem to locate it at the time, and since the dealer was over 100 miles from us, there wasn't much point in going back for it once they found it.

I just bought a factory GM Avalanche tent with the GM air mattress from a friend of the family/client of mine a couple of weeks ago. I'm very happy with it. The only picture I have is a dark night time picture, so when I go use it next I will post a good picture up in this thread.

Sounds good, looking forward to seeing it in action from a member of the GMTC.

Do you feel like there is ample room in the tent or is kind of cramped?

I was actually very impressed with the space in the tent - height is good and it is the size of the avalanche bed + the length of the tailgate. The best part is that the Avalanche tent and the rainfly run in the gap between the top of the sail panel and the roof to seal everything from the top and it has a door in the front so you can fold down your midgate and have all of that room as part of your tent too... complete with heat, air conditioning, and a stereo.
