    Default transfer case leak

    i just bought a salvaged title 2010 silverado and it had a leak from the rear seal on the transfer case. i purched a new seal and installed it but the leak is still there is there a inter
    seal or would any one have a suggestion

    Also check your tranny fluid level. And did you fill the transfer to the proper level? if the tranny fluid is low then you have a blown output seal on the tranny as well, which is causing fluid to be pushed out of the tranny into the transfer and putting more pressure on the seal than what it is designed to take.
