stock 6.0 bore size????
does anyone know what the stock bore size is for a 2006 6.0 that came out of a 2500hd silverado? im looking into getting forged pistons and basically building the motor up more to take around 16lbs of boost from a turbo aplication. figured id be better off starting the with building the motor to save money in the long run....2000 single cab short bed 1500 w/ 6.0 vortec maxx swap from a 2006 2500, custom intake, slotted brakes, shorty headers, 8mm wires, electric fan, strait piped, 4.5 inch lift, asp pulleys, true dual through body exhaust, built trans w/ shift kit, custom tune by efi alchemy...320rwhp

i dont care where you are getting forged pistons from, they had better be able to tell you, if not then dont buy them from that dealer. Otherwise if you call JEGS, SUMMITRACING or EDELBROCK they can tell you. Or the old fail safe google "6.0 vortec bore size" but off the top of my head I believe it was 4 inches99 K1500 Suburban LT "THE BEAST"
