Default Aftermarket Fan Clutches, are they all junk?

I've tried one from Autozone and one from Advance. Both have the same problem, they never stop running. Even at highway speeds when it's 20* outside, they are still running. Well, the advance one would shut off once I went over 70MPH. But I swapped it out for an autozone one and that one only shuts off if I rev the engine to 3000 RPM while going 70 and then as soon as I go slower than 55 it engages again.

Do I just need to suck it up and get one from Rockauto? Is the AC Delco the proper OEM part? Tired of the sucky gas mileage.

I've had some bad luck in the past with aftermarket clutches. My advice is to get a GM clutch. You get what you pay for when it comes to fan clutches.

Is AC Delco that is listed at rock auto the correct vendor?
