For 8 out of these 11 years, the Chevy was the #1 selling truck in the US. Ford held the number for 3 years total. I had no idea that the Tundra was such a low-selling vehicle and I really had no clue that the Nissan would be very difficult to get sales data on, they might not let that information out because the numbers are so low.

You can see why the US manufacturers were hit so hard by the high gas prices, as soon as the truck sales fell, GM and Chrysler got creamed and Ford almost did as well.

If you look in the other thread that you have i gave the info for 2010, and 2009, and 2007..

Also i am a ford and GM guy but i know that GM includes the avalanche in their sales totals, which technically falls into the crossover etc platform. Im not complaing but that is how ford is still considered the #1 selling truck. Interesting how there are less than 1/2 the trucks sold today as compared to 1999-2001 time.
