    HELLO!
Just picked up a 2008 Silverado LT on Dec 30 after rolling my Ram 1500 on the morning of Dec 17. Lost it on black ice coming over a rise and rolled 6 times, walked away with very minor injuries but the Ram was total loss.

Although the Dodge did save my life, after driving all types of trucks the Gm was definately the most comfortable and had the best options! Hope to be around here for quite awhile.

    Thanks Mike
Although the Dodge did serve me well... The Silverado is hands down a better truck, I wish I had test driven the GM product before the purchase of the Ram, then maybe I would not have had to go through the accident. The Dodge always had a propensity to go sideways on accel or decel when icy and I find the Silverado holds its own!
    Thanks for the welcome

Welcome to the club Richard. Actually it looks like the Ram held up pretty good for so many rolls.

What do they say...if you can't Dodge it, roll it? JK, glad you're ok. I looked at the new Dodge trucks and liked the new ones. Just liked the GMC better, and have had good history with GM. I wasn't real happy with the Dodge cheese factor on some interior options like the center console shifter that looks like it came out of a Sebring. It also didn't help that Dodge wasn't producing parts for their new vehicles at the time.

a brother from Alberta! welcome! coincidentally, i was talking to my aunt who said she was stuck in traffic from a rollover around Dec 17th, and she lives around the Edmonchuck area, very odd. i can see the spots in the snow where the truck rolled. glad to hear you're OK, I know how it feels, I've been in many accidents, a T-Bone very recently but i have rolled trucks before, and it feels like it takes forever to end. i hope you enjoy your new ride, they don't roll easily, trust me, I've done a few spins in my truck yet this year.
