Thread: Need opinions?!!
01-05-2011, 10:08 AM #1
So about 20 minutes in photoshop and I came up with a few things I may eventually try to my truck. Any (good) opinions would be appreciated.
I'm considering painting my bowtie (since it's been raped by rocks anyway)
White to match the truck.
Black to break up the white.
I'm also considering smoking my tail-lights a bit.
And finally I'm still considering debadging the tail gate.
Also what do you guys think of the mirrors? I just finished painting them the other day.

If it were me, I'd go with the white bowtie & leave the tail lights alone. You might as well de-badge the tailgate since you already did the sides. Mirrors look good too.

If you decide to tint the tails I would paint the bowtie black, otherwise go white. I think finishing off the debadging would look nice too.

I think I like the white bowtie better but the only thing is that it doesn't really stand out against the chrome divider too well... But i'm pretty sure the badges are coming off. 1. They don't match 2. Everybody knows what the truck is already 3. There is a nice coat of wax around them that I can't get out.

No but really, the white and chrome, you're right, that's what makes it kind of tough, didn't snap to that. I'm all for "we don't need no stinking badges" and stuff, but which badges? The tailgate badges? Those are some very nice wheels btw.
