    My father just sold his 94 S-10. I used it for a while when I started my engine rebuild. It had a peppy little 4.3 V6.
    Now that's the vehicle that engine belongs in. Not the full size pick-up.

    Default GMC Sonoma Forums

    Years ago my dad had a '98 GMC Sonoma 4WD truck that drove very nice. I loved driving that truck. He sold it becuase it doesn't make a good tow vehicle behind the motorhome. Anyhow, I always loved driving that truck and it did pretty well offroad and in the snow too.

    My friend has 2 S-10's. A 2003 Extreme with 4 cyl. color: dark met. blue w/silver stripes, and a 1989 with a 383 stroker motor that he races.

    Traded in the 99 Burb the 1st week of Oct for a 2002 S-10 4x4 Crewcab ZR5. Indigo Blue. A bit better mileage.

    14city and 18hwy vs 12 and 15. This is my 3rd S-10 in 20 years. Can't seem to get the lil bast$#%'s outta my hair.

    Oldest son just bought a 2004 silverado ext cab Sat. So far so good.
