Rattle behind cluster 2006 Silverado
I have a 2006 Silverado. I have a rattle behind the cluster. It does it when i am on bumpy roads and does not vibrate at all on level hwy. I have removed the cluster. No luck. Told that the intermediate sterring shaft was the issue. Replaced it. No luck. It sounds like something is hanging and slapping the steerig column. I am about to go postal. Has anyone had this issue?

If you have a rattle behind the instrument cluster you'll just have to keep looking like you have been. However if you can localize it to the sterering column, there are at least 2 good threads on this site that deal with GMs' fixes, & shade tree fixes that have worked for some owners when the GM fix didn't.1988 Chevy C-3500 2wd (no pic)
