Default OEM Assist step installation 2011 Silverado extended cab

    Hi

I'm about to order some black tubular OEM assist steps for my truck and was wondering about the install - do they bolt directly to the frame or is there something else involved? Is this a simple one man operation?

Simple question, I know. I do appreciate your responses.

I believe it is a job that you can do yourself. The frame is already drilled for the mounts, and once you attach to the frame, you bolt up the steps. On my crew cab there are about 5 or 6 mounts.
