Default servicing the HVAC unit in 05 silverado

Hi, does anyone have any idea on how to access/service the HVAC system? I am having issues with some air diverters that are not responding to the controls. It seems to be a very integrated unit and I am not sure where to "tap" in.

    Thanks in advance.

Is the air only blowing out certain vents?

Sounds like it maybe a actuator in your dash. What year truck is it and do you have the Digital HVAC system or just the regular manual HVAC?

its a 2005. Manual controls (as in 2 knobs to select air direction and fan speed, with 2 slider switches for temperature control for driver/passenger).

    Where are the actuators located?

    Thanks

The Temperature actuator for the driver side in above the Hump below your dash. You have to remove the HVAC cover to get to it, The passenger Side Temperature actuator and the Mode/direction Actuator are on top of the HVAC box underneath the air vents. You'll need to take apart the top of your dash and most likely remove your vent housing to get to them.
