Thumbs up Completed LED swap for 2003 and newer silverado dash

So today I decided to use something I learned from physics and install LED's in my gauge cluster. The overall installation was not too bad, depending on the voltage of the LED you will use and the Voltage supplied by your electrical system determining the correct resistor to use it fairly easy.

    V truck - V LED/ Amp of LED = resistor needed

The only downfall is that radioshack did not have the good LED lights, only 30 degree directional ones. However, I must say the LED"s are incredible bright and look amazing, despite having hot spots (concentrated area of light).

I will post pics as soon as I take it back apart. What is easy about this swap is the fact that you can use a ( volt battery to test the function of the LED since they are only able to work a particular way. Once, you solder the first led correctly, a 9 volt battery can be used to assure proper polarity of the diode.
