Jamie's "Tool of the Day!"
Paris Hilton Screams As She's Ordered Back To Jail
Paris Hilton is going back to the one place where not even her money can save her - a Los Angeles jail cell. The almost inevitable outcome of her court appearance came Friday, after the hotel heiress was brought back before a judge in handcuffs. The 26-year-old was escorted out of the courtroom screaming and crying as she was led away to complete her 45 day penalty for violating the terms of her probation on an impaired driving charge.
It was clear from the moment the proceedings began there was little sympathy for the poor little rich girl. She was originally supposed to be able to monitor the proceedings by phone from her home, where she was under house arrest. But she was sternly ordered back in person by an unamused judge Michael T. Sauer.
Hilton had suddenly been released by the sheriff's department on Thursday after being diagnosed with an undisclosed medical problem. That violated the order of an angry Sauer, who had originally ordered she not be let out early, couldn't leave wearing an ankle bracelet and wasn't to be considered for house arrest. Yet those were exactly the terms of her premature release. She was escorted back to a waiting police cruiser in handcuffs after the decision, screaming "It's not right!"
The courthouse became a zoo during Hilton's appearance, with paparazzi, fans and the news media all over the place. There were some supporters present, but most of the general public doesn't seem too sympathetic to her case. "Driving like that, you have to behave," observes Moses Baltazar, who once worked for Hilton as a valet. "If you're rich, you have money, you have to respect yourself."

Know someone who's not quite darwin award material, but definitely fits the Tool of the Day category? Famous, infamous, or just plain unknown...
Send your nominations for Tool of the Day (TOD) to Jamie, via PM (Cableguy)
They could be posted in this thread!!
Hopefully Jamie won't be mad at me for suggesting this without asking him first. If so, I might be the next entry on TOD...lolPatrick

I don't know if there would be enough interest, but maybe in the 'tech section' there could be a "tool tips" thread. New tools, cool tools, old tools, improvised tools. Thoughts? There is no way to happiness....happiness is the way.:yipi:

I like that idea Unplugged, but I was been silly. We'll have to start a new one. That has serious content in it. Great suggestion!
