Default Transmission change at high rpms

Hello,Posted question about this couple weeks ago but no replies. What could cause changing gears at higher rpms on a 1994 Silverado?Fluid to not low and not brown or any burnt odor to it.Changes on its own at approx 3500 on tach,i can make it change at approx 2800 by easing off on accelerator.Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Karey

Under what driving conditions do these shifts occur? Is this steady state driving? Accelerating- merging, passing, speed contest. Does it have a Tow-Haul mode switch? Give us as much detail as you can so that we may better understand what might be happening.

Hello ,No tow-haul mode switch.I drive back and forth to work approx 10 miles one way,it changes on its own at around 35000rpm from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd but i can make it change at around 28000rpm by letting off accelerator. And it has been doing this since i first got it back running after setting up for around 18 mos.Checked fluid,it is full and no burnt smell and fluid is not brown or discolored at all.I was thinking about changing throttle position sensor but i was hoping to get another opinion before just changing out parts.Thank You,Karey

Keep meaning to note what RPMs my trans like to shift but can't seem to remember to look. Do you recall what was normal 18 months ago? Ice is coming our way so I am going to be light on the gas for a few days and won't be able to get a good idea of normal shift points. I will check back.
