    Default 6 Speed Converrsion

Does anyone know of a kit or place to where I can get a six speed installed on my truck ? Tranny is acting up so I figured it would help with fuel mileage a lot to get one.

Automatic. It would be a 4L60 to 6L90 swap. I was looking into gear vendors underdrive/overdrive deal but I'm not sure how it works or if its worth it.

The Gear Vendors under/overdrive is one sweet unit if you can afford it. I researched them indepth & talked to the guy on the phone for half an hour. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. It will split each gear so if you're planning on doing any towing you would definitely benefit from it. The only reason I didn't go with it was the price. Call them up & have them send you the literature on it. It's well detailed on how it works & the gear ratios.
