Default Hello from the Sierra Nevada Foothills in Nor Cal

Hey all, I've been lurking for a few weeks and figured it was time to join. I have a 1956 Chevy pickup with a '67 Vette 327 under the hood and an M22 behind it. Still working on it (the eternal project). I just got my 2002 Z71 back on the road after 6 months ironing out a few issues and scraping the funds together to fix them. I have a few questions regarding the "pork chop" leveling system and which ones are decent and affordable, and front seat issues...I'll post these in the appropriate forums.

Looks like a great site with a bunch of useful info. See you guys around...

LOL, yea...I figured the '56 would steal the show. Let me see what I can find...

Some specs on it for now: Big back window, custom cab with all chrome and trim options, hood and side emblems removed, 327 at 10.25:1 compression ratio / camel hump 202 fuelie heads...was dynoed at 408 hp, 625 Edelbrock, MSD HEI dizzy, 2 1/2 in Corvette HP exhaust manifolds (will be installing MagnaFlow dual exhausts with X-pipe soon). M22 close ratio rock crusher with Hurst ProComp shifter and Stage III Centerforce clutch, 12 bolt posi rear, front discs ('76 chevy rotors) on 3" drop I-beam axle (wanted to stay as old school as possible) and will be installing reverse eye front leaf for 2" more drop, will be notching the rear frame and dropping it 4", 275/50/R15 on rear, 225/50/R16 front on steel wheels with chrome baby mooncaps, will soon be painting it a temporary flat black for summer cruising to be painted this coming winter. It's a blast to drive...
