    Oh....good. I don't feel so bad. That's how I do it. I figure if I'm removing it, then it's bad, and I don't care what it looks like after it comes out.

    or is it a muffler bearing greasing tool????

    wow - i thought i grabbed the easy one. it is still early so i hold off to this afternoon for the answer.

    Hint: if you have an automatic this tool is not needed...........mike

    it is for the intermediate shaft? or the cables?

    nope it is used farther forward.
    the job can be done without this tool but this tool saves alot of greaf and cussing and some mess........mike
