    Default Hinge Pins

I just got my hands on a 98 2dr Tahoe. Has a few issues, but overall in pretty good shape. Has the rear barn boors, with the typical hinge pin issues. One of the driver side pins has completely snapped, so that's high on my priority list. I can't seem to find anywhere to buy them though. Local parts stores don't seem to have them, or only have the pins for the front doors. Anyone know where I can get them?

    Thanks

Local dealer should have them, I just replaced mine on the barn doors on my Burb last summer?

Beware this is not a job for the faint of heart.

I ended up using an acetylene torch to heat the hinge up enough to drive the pins out with a helper and a BFH.

There cheap at dealership and if your not obligated to do it, a body shop does this fairly cheap too.

Thanks for the info/advice. Sounds like it might be worth the extra $$ to let someone else deal with it. I'll look into prices from a few shops and see what they say.

    Unhappy Hinges

I have to do the same on my 97 Tahoe Sport 2dr. Are the pins the same for a two door as a four door??? How many pins in total to do both doors??? My buddy is going to do this for me cause I dont have the patience.
