    Default 12mm offset

I have the 18" Z71 wheels on my 2010 1500. was curious how bad a new wheel ( Moto Metal 955) would look with the -12mm offset. anyone have experience with this? i have a 2" lift and putting on 285/70 R17. Also, anyone have any opinion of rim size.. thinking 17" or 18"? any advantage or disadvantage?

The -12 offset will push them out a good bit, but it will look fine. How wide are the wheels? The only problem with negative offsets is the increased potential for rubbing. Those tires will rub some with that wheel. IMO, 17's dont look as good as 18's or 20's on these trucks. Most wheels out there look their best in the larger sizes. When you drop to a 17, the wheel design is pushed together and the wheel isn't as visually appealing. At least stay with the 18's if not go with a 20".
