Well, seeing since the time I was 16 all I've ever owned is a chevy truck.. So far I have had

1979 Chevy Half ton 4x4. SB 400, holly 4 barrel Duel battery set up off a 6.2L Diesel. 350 trans. Had 1 ton leaf springs and shocks to support the goose neck hitch, 36in Super Swampers with a 6 inch suspension lift. Desert Camouflage paint. 3000watt power invertor behind the seat(hence the duel battery and big diesel alt) Custom front bumber with a 10 gallon air tank with ac pump acting as a compressor. Was the embodiment of a redneck work truck. Sold for $6500 three years ago cause my 4'8" wife couldn't get in it. Headers, true duel straight pipes ending by the trans. I say almost every time one of my trucks break down that I should have never gotten rid of it.
1985 GMC half ton 2wheel drive. SB350, holly 4 barrel, same exhaust taken from the 79 before selling it. Had 30x10.50 front tires with my spare 36 boggers on the back. (Put a 14 inch cedar block on both leaf springs to clear the tires) Ended up with a snapped push rod, and destroyed cam shaft. Junked it.
1990 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4. 4.3L big six (big lemon in my opinion for this truck) 33x12.50 pro comp Xterrain tires. 700R4 tranny. Reverse was very weak, required 4x4 just to move in reverse on flat ground. Again, junked after tearing apart to install a 350 and rebuild trans proved to expensive
1993 Chevy Silverado 2wheel. SB305, 4L60E trans. Nothing special. My grocery getter. Had 358K miles and ran like a raped ape still had A/C. Pump in the trans went out the day I went to pull home my current truck. Junked
1994 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4. Current ride. SB350, 5 Speed trans. 33x12.50 BF good wrench tires. Been plagued with problems, but it's still a Chevy so it makes it home every day. Good old redneck specials running an open cat exhaust by the trans. Rusted all to hell honestly XD Rides pretty smooth. Just creaks from all the rust gathered at the beach.
