Thread: It has arrived

    Default It has arrived

My 2011 3500 Silverado is in -- pick it up Monday. Getting a spray in bedliner, remote starter, mudflaps and after I get the 5th wheel setup in, wheel guard liners. Need to get the the fold-a-cover tonneau and pillar gauges. Found Chevrolet Customer Assistance to be useless in my pursuit of the integrated brake controller and incompatibility with my electric over hydraulic brakes on my trailer. Not done yet considering Trailer Life Magazine rated the truck favorably and Motor Trend chose it as the truck of 2011. Ford and Dodge has integrated brake controllers which are compatible (GM has had since mid 2007 to correct this incompatibility)

Not everything goes according to schedule -- pick the truck up tomorrow afternoon. The 5th wheel hitch and brake controller will go in this weekend. Look at this awesome battle -- Ford vs. Chevy http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2010/11...e-rockies.html
