    Default some inspiration for exhaust choices

    ok so i am sitting at a traffic light one day and i hear pull next to me this immaculate deep rumble of a trans am.... i swear i could of been dreaming.. i was wondering what mufflers do you think would do the job to make this sound? like i want this exact sound.. vids below of sounds that sounded familiar.

    It really all depends on the vehicle that is in question. I take it that you're looking for something for your suburban with the 350 in it? If that's the case, I've always loved Flowmaster 40 series mufflers on a small block chevy. It's the perfect sound!

    Me too! Nothing wakes up a mouse motor like flowmasters. Mild cam and its almost a sic combo.

    yeah my burb has a hole in the muffler and sounds exactly like the 40 its great. I don't know if I want to fix it.

    what does everybody think of that second video?? when i saw that i cracked up btw i think for this year and for it being lowered i wanna give it like the muscle car hum...

    Try flowmaster 50 series... beautiful sound, with minimal interior resonation... they even have a muffler designed specifically for suv's. You can also hear sound bytes on their website.

    P.S. Headers REALLY help with the sound...

    I have the 50 series on my truck. It has a real nice tone but if you want really loud, go with the 40 series...it sounds really nice but is LOUD, esspecially if your running headers.
