    EFILive Tune it.

I love driving the GLI Jetta's when I get one in at work. Fun little cars. Keep up the good work bud!

yup, some form of a tune will be next. I wanted to get whatever bolt-ons done first, let the ECU adapt to the changes and then tune based on them.

well, did my first oil change today. Man what a difference than having to jack up my lowered euro cars and being scared that IF it falls I would be dead. With the tahoe, I just slide underneath and within no time I'm done! $35 and I get a decent filter and 6 qts of full synthetic. I ran half a can of seafoam directly in the crankcase for about 80 miles prior to changing. The other half of the seafoam I dumped in the gas tank the prior week.

Something that is bothering me though. Seems like the power steering pump is making that whining noise even though the fluid level is fine. Something else to research I suppose. Reminds me of a Ford! Ford's always make that noise...lol

Made a short video/sound clip of the magnaflow. Hopefully it loads correctly.

lol thanks! Yeah the sound comes and goes. Sounds exactly the same as PS pump noise but it gets louder with engine speed. doesn't get louder when turning the wheel like PS does. Guess it's common issue but annoying nonetheless. Exhaust drowns it out a little : )

Took a day off work last week and polished up the tahoe. I used my porter cable DA with lake country foam pads. Meguiar's ultimate compound and Ultimate polish. Topped it off with Wolfgang sealant. Super slick and eliminated majority of swirl marks. Took the entire day!

It's amazing what a good wax & polish can do to a vehicle's appearance. Looks great
