Default Need Ideas about Hotrodding my Sub

I own a 1999 Chevy Suburban C1500 with the 5.7 L Vortec V8 that is completely stock. I want to hotrod it and I am looking for ideas about the first things I should do and how to get the most bang for my bucks.

Welcome to the site. This is the body kit that I could find - http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/retro...bcat3a=4021100 I always thought this would look cool on a Sub - lowered, and painted yellow. There is another kit that's a '62 or '64, but I couldn't find anything.

Post a picture of your truck and the rest of the group may get a feel from it and start throwing some ideas.

    Good luck,

First thing I would do is drop the suspension an inch or so, and get some nice looking wheels. If you have the $$$$ I would say throw on some airbags but they are little pricey. De-molding and de-badging your 'burb will give it a much cleaner look and it costs almost nothing to do it. Also some upgraded sway bars will improve your handling. Upgrading your brakes wouldn't hurt either.

If you're looking to hotrod it, invest in a good set of long tube equal length headers, a good cat back system, aftermarket high flow cats, a CAI, & a power tune, chip etc.
