    Default Some help

I'm looking at two trucks on craigslist and I've got some questions. They're both lifted what should I be looking for to be worn out because of that, also what are any other problems areas I should be looking for

    Here's the links:

Are you going to have access to these trucks before you buy them? If yes, then take your first choice into a good front end shop & have them check it out. It will cost you a lot less for an inspection that it could cost you for a plethora of suspension & steering parts. If the first one fails your budget for repairs, then take the second one in.

I see both trucks are 1/2 ton trucks with 37" tires. 37" tires are tough on 1/2 ton axles. Also looks like the front ends are higher than the rear which means the torson bars are cranked. Look at the front CV axle joints along with all the other front suspension (pitman&idler arms, balljionts, tie rods). I would have the rear axle covers taken off so you can get a good look at the ring&pinion because of the 37" tires.
