Default Stock Shock Life on Leveled Truck

What's up Guys! I am getting to the 60k mile mark and have seen on different post that some say 30k is when you should replace the stock shocks. I have 2.25" up front and 1.25" in the rear and do some twisting every once in a while. I was looking at the Rancho RS9000XL shocks and called Rancho and they said they dont make a shock for a leveled truck. I have had Skyjacker in the past on my lifted '07 Classic and did not like the way they felt at all. What shocks front and rear would be good for a lot of on road driving, but still hang off road?? OR, do I even need to be looking for shocks at this point?

    Thanks as always!!!

Hey man well it depends on how the front rides compared to how the back rides. The front could be bouncy and the rear could be stiff you could actually probably extend the shocks to make them more stiff or more room to move whatever basically feels best to you. I was told cst makes good shocks and also fox shocks and king shocks but your going to be paying good money. I probably need new shocks roughcountry shocks arent that great with the 7.5 inch lift they are too stiff especially in the back.I might go with a cst shocks still trying to figure which ones though, but i need better ones and might switch to coilover ones.

shocks should last roughly 50k so if you replaced them when you did your lift yo might have some time left but it also depends on how treat em. try calling your local parts dealer ( napa, fishers, etc) you should be able to get kybs, ranchos, monroes whatever you like just tell them you need 1-2" longer shocks

I checked the pricing for Fox shocks and it looks like for 0-2" of lift to do all four corners would cost right at $1,600 which is a bit out of my price range. I can only image how much the King shocks would be over the Fox.....

I would get the leveling kit from Bilstein. The front you can adjust fron 0-2.5" so you adjust it to "0" and because there made for a leveling kit they will have the travel range for a leveled truck.

I was playing on the Bilstein site and found these shocks....P#24-186735 & 24-066471. Anyone have any experience with these?
