Tahoe Tranny Help!
Anyone know a good online guide that runs through the replacement of a 1996 Tahoe (or similar) transmission ?
The transmission in mine is dead (3rd gear gone), and I am looking to buy a used one & put it in myself to save $$$...but would like to see what its going to take first.

Welcome to the GM truck club North Star. Sorry I don't know of a guide but this is just a nuts & bolts job so you should be able to do it with just a smattering of mech aptitude. One thing that's a must have, is a tranny jack if this is your first time. For both your safety & the trannys.
edit** You'll also need a good pair of jack stands
