My friend has a 2002 Yukon XL Denali and he wants to leave his factory radio in place, just for looks and security ("faking out the potential thief", is what he said), and replace the CD changer with an aftermarket radio. I understand that we will prolly have to route some speaker wires from the stock radio harness to the new radio but power and ground and remote should be there from the CD changer. Do you know anything as far as mounting, do they make a dash kit for that or is that a custom job? Any information from someone who has done this or found some pictures of someone doing this would be great and helpful. Thank you very much.
