Default computer to non computer conversion

    Greetings all,
just put a 1985 engine in my 1989 Sub, eliminating my computer. Does anyone know which wire is best to power my distributor? Has anyone else done this?
    Thanks.....

Hey Big Blue, it just has to be an ignition wire. I converted mine several years ago & I used one of the relays on the firewall that are right there by the dist. Just check for one that has power with key on only. If you accidently get one that is battery+ it won't shut off once you fire it up ha ha
