Default How to test and set TPS

Can anyone tell me (step by step) how to check the TPS readings on a 2001 Tahoe? I do have a voltmeter but limited experience using it.

The HO is running rough, lacks pick up and the gas mileage seems to be suffering. I do have a CODE in the computer telling me that the left front O2 sensor is bad.

Besides that, I'm thinking that an improperly adjusted TPS will kill the power too.

Thanks for any ideas or help.
If it has four wheels and a steering wheel...you'll have to work on it.

Ultimately you need a scanner to check voltage from 0v at closed throttle to 5v at wot. There are no resistance specs in the GM service manual. Sorry
