    Default Hypertech Max Energy

I am kicking around the idea of buying a hypertech max energy power programmer for my 2000 chevy V6. I like the idea of it being a code reader and a programmer in one, but i have a few questions. For instance, has anyone had any experience with this unit? Also since it hooks up through the OBD II port can I use it to read engine codes on other vehicles besides my truck? Any help is appreciated, thanks a bunch.

my boss had one on his 08 2500hd and it only reads codes on the vehicle it was installed on, and it really doesnt offer all the adjustments that the dsp does...he did get 22-25mpgs out of his 6.0 while running 33's tho
