Unfortunately, that video card is too good for this system's motherboard. I can't plugin AGP, only PCI.

Thanks for the offer on that though.

I wish I could just stack them up and keep adding them to the system, but there are only two slots and I'm going to take Darcy's old 512MB cards. Thanks for the offer though.

My motherboard is just at the point where you can't get any new stuff for it. It's a Socket 478 motherboard that can handle Celeron 400 MHz FSB processors or Pentium 4 processors at 400 MHz FSB.

Moving from a Celeron to a Pentium 4 will be a BIG boost.

BTW, I just found a way to overclock this Celeron from x8 to x22, so in theory it's running 4 times faster, and it looks like it's working. LOL, I've had this computer for 4 years and I could have been doing that all along.

Thanks to Dwill3015 we've now got 1GB of ram in this old beast. When I overclocked it, it's running faster. But when I put these two sticks of 512MB ram in, it's running 10x faster than before!

    Thanks again!

BTW, I'm bidding on a new Pentium 4 2.6 GHz 400 processor on eBay, so no one outbid me!

And thanks to my back-bacon eating northern friend, we'll have a hard drive that can serve as the final resting spot for a rotation of backups that we'll make from the new server. Right now I can only keep a few becuase the backups can total 100MB and if you want to keep one from every other day, well that's 1.5 GB per month. It adds up, believe me.

Thanks for everyone who's pitching in.
