    Default ABS does not work

I have a 2000 Silverado 4x4, 4.8, and after the last big snow storm, my ABS quit working, and then the ABS light came on. Ive been driving it for about a month now, with no issues other than the ABS not working. Im not sure what is wrong, I have checked the fuse, and the wires and connections into and from the sensors in both front hubs (which I replaced this past fall). So I have no idea what is wrong, could it be the ABS control module? And if so, where is it, and is it expensive??

Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

The system works off 3 sensors. Have you had the codes checked? Start there first. But the system has 3 sensors one speed sensor in each front wheel behind the rotor and the speed sensor in the end of Trans. What is it doing? Not activating at all or activating when not supposed to?

Yep as Magna86 said, start with getting the codes read.

Well, I went and had the codes read, but they guy at AutoZone said that he can't check ABS codes, so, I literally got nowhere. I guess, im just goin to have to take it to the dealership to get them read, or to a shop.
