I have an kfx250 quad. I race hare scrambles so its mostly used a pit bike. All of my friends have 450's or 400s and I have no problem keeping up with them when I decide to ride it instead of the bike. It still impresses me how balanced it is even being 11 years old

Yeah, they arent as fast as you would think a big 600CC motor would make it but there is so much power. My buddy has one and we all go wheeling a couple of times a year. There is a trail we call the 8 hour trail because it takes 8 hours to go the 5 miles that it takes. Awsome ride but a real test of a rider and machine let me tell ya.

Im a yamaha guy... hence the desire for a 660, or even a 700 EFi.. i would prefer an EFI machince since they run better in the extream temps we get up here in MN...
And yeah i did a bit of ridding with my buddies in Ga.. alot of red clay... we have alot more mudd gumbo stuff up here, or if you dont like that then there is snow lol... So a 4X4 is pretty much manditory.

Well snow is fun in the first few inches. once you get over a foot or so all you do is get stuck and spin... That is why i prefer a snowmobile for winter use, and have 2 of them and no ATV yet... mabey sometime next month we shall see.

I have a 2010 Yamaha Rhino (I call it the wino), it's just like a jeep except smaller. It will go just about anywhere, very smooth and comfortable. We have lot's of dirt roads/trails around here but the main use is to go get the mail about 2 miles away. Quad's are street legal here if they have a motorcycle tag on them. So I have my pick of three trucks, two Harleys and the wino if I want to go for a ride.
