    Interesting article on GM HD trucks and tire size.

    I had this same problem. I went to costco to get 265 70's on my suburban and they said "we can only put on the size specified by the manufacturer". The first tire place I went the guy told me that making the tire taller and skinnier allows for better cornering and performance. This may or may not be true but the 265's definetly look better than the 245's on my suburban.
