    firefighter emt here from new jersey im the assistant chief at my volly station in dist 1 and im a paid firefighter in north plainfield nj iaff local 2958

    i live in a really small town so i did some vol. work w/ my cousins last summer but they're full time i was like part time but ill never forget it and its deff. something im lookin at doin wen i get out of the marines

    I drive all day around town and on Highways. I've come up on accidents hundreds of times. I usually use my traffics cones and flashing lights to divert traffic. The Emergency services usually get a kick out of it. They say I can shut a line down better than they do...


    Anyway, I'm throwing out a God Bless EMT,Fire and Police services!

    once i get my license i will have enough in the tool box in my truck to extinguish a minor blaze. anyone see the episode of overhaulin when they did the chevy truck for the firefighter?

    I have a 5lb in my truck, tested once a year. Including training with Fire Department at back of our shop in one of those propane fire trays. You can't leave until you put it out. Great real-time training I think.

    I must have missed that episode, sounds like it would have been a cool truck though.
