if your go custom, you might be able to set up a bulk buy with other members (hint hint). a shop will sell them cheaper if they know they'll sell a reasonable quantity.....try like 10 or 15 and even if you only find 7 other members that really want one theres always ebay and car shows03 Silverado 1500

Not a bad idea, still have to find someone willing and able to do it though, so far AMI and DefenderWorx are out, still waiting on the other two to reply. They both recommended T-Rex grilles so Im gonna have to get ahold of them now...

thats one thing ive always liked about GMCs... nice big red letters in the grill.

well, not good news, T-Rex grilles replied back and said they do not currently do custom grilles, i'm sure in a few months ill see my idea on their shelves now lol

check local machine shops......i know when i still had my probe we had a lot of these bulk buys for cams, brackets for larger brakes, strut bars, traction bars, etc.....theres always someone out there

Grill inserts would be cheap for someone with a water jet. Mud flaps are another option as well. You could fab one up yourself if you're handy. Just make a negative of the border of your grill, and out of MDF make the CHEVY letters out of MDF board. Make a male of the outer edge of your grill and place your CHEVY inside and support it. Then go to town with fiberglass.
Made a hood for a racing lawnmower back in highschool with a custom grill. It took a lot of time and a few tries. But it kind of looked good in the end?

my neighbor does have a big as$ CNC machine, I guess I could bring him a couple beers and see what he could do lol. he makes custom parts for the fish processing plants in alaska, and I think his equipment might be big enough to do it...we shall see...lol
