Ya know the usual bs. He uses him for all his costumers and he does great work. The mechanic loves the truck and wants to buy it from me so it seems like he would have sent it someplace better

The foam on the Taurus rocker panel looks like it was used to fill a gap they couldnt properly close when they put the car back together.
Watch that foam closely, it holds moisture and will probably be the cause of lots more rust on that Taurus.
Unfortunately the bad repair is so obvious that car wouldnt even sell easily.
If your mechanic thinks so highly of this body shop it might be time to start double checking his work too.

wow...1st of all id never let anything leave my shop looking like that. and 2ndly after seeing the work he did on your bro's car you should never have went to him.

any ways it looks like he did a half assed cosmetic fix (not a repair) on top of the rust, so the only way to REPAIR this is to take it all down to bare metal and get rid of the rust (unfortunately rust always comes back, thats the only guarantee you'll ever get)

Sorry. He either rushed it, or he's not able to do better. He might be at the end of his abilities as a body repairman. Get it fixed right someone else and sue him in small claims court. You're going to win, no doubt about that if you took the vehicle in to be repaired and that's the finished product. You can add in the full name and address/phone/website of the business in your first post in this tread so Google will pick it up and other people who are doing research on here will be able to read your review and see your photos.
