an "amazingly high" 14,500 kilometers. (9000 miles). My Lancer gets the commute beating. i only use my truck when i need to go to a construction site or it's a really crappy winter day outside with 10 foot high snow drifts, and if i feel like taking it out for a drive on the weekend. and of course, hauling stuff and towing my boat. for family trips we use the Terrain. my truck still has washer fluid from 2009 in it.

I have a 1995 Chevy Suburban with 354,000 on it. The tranny is newly rebuilt (less than 1000 miles.) The engine I just finished and has less than 500 miles on it. I spent about nine months doing those two projects. When I bought it it had a replacement 305 TBI out of a 92 Chevy Caprice instead of the original 350. When that died (long story) I decided to rebuild it rather than get a 350. I just finished it a week ago or so but now am replacing the heater core and evaporator core. I want the AC working perfect. It was okay, but not quite right (and I broke the evaporator trying to free up a frozen ac line connection.) I've already done the rear expansion valve, which is a major pain. Now another huge pain up front. But worth it when done. Many, many parts are new, so the miles are largely irrelevant.

My 2001 has 312,000 km, so thats about 194,000 miles. It still has all of the original drivetrain and still runs like new. I think the rear end is pretty worn though.
