    Default Fuel Rails and Spider

    Why do folks replace these components? Do they get rusted, or clogged?

    With the spider on the 1996-1999 5.7L, 5.0L V-8 and the 4.3L V-6 the popets in the spider usually go bad or else you end up with a broken fuel line, or else the pulse just straight up goes out.
    As to the fuel rail they can corrode, or else begin to leak.

    Interesting the spider is a conduit for the pulse? I may be having intermittant pulse problems which is causing random stalls.

    Which motor do you have??? because depending on the motor you may not have a spider

    There isnt a spider on the 5.3L just 8 independent injectors, as well as coil on plug. the 5.3L is lightyears ahead of the old 5.7L it replaces..
