    Default New Headers

    I've decided the next upgrade I'm goin to put on my truck are headers. I've done some research but can't decide which one would be the best fit for my truck so I thought I would ask the pros and see what y'all think

    As mentioned above....Pacesetter along with....Gibson....Edelbrock....are some of the ones to look at.

    I have JBA shorties. There good but I wish I had gone with long tubes like Dynatech, StainlessWorks and AmericanRacingheaders.

    X2 on all of the above. Go with a set of long tube headers (more bang for the buck) & don't go larger than 1 5/8" diameter primary tubes

    Headers are a brand loyalty item, and its always been long tube verses shorty verses Tri-y. Long tubes will give you more high end hp but having a 4x4 i would think that low end torque would be what you are looking for and if so look at a Tri-y design.

    Oh also dont forget coated or not, stainless or carbon!! Lots of reasearch and budget will affect your decision. i have a set of ceramic coated Doug Thorley Tri Y's but i paid for them also. Good luck and remember you will get what you pay for.
