Oil level sensor
My '07 Sierra, 5.3, keeps showing me a low engine oil level, even though the level is fine on the dipstick. Anyone else having this problem with the oil pan oil level sensor and is it difficult to change?

Welcome to the club. Try cleaning the sensor elec. connection with some elec. spray cleaner first, may be just dirty and have moister.

Mine keeps telling me I'm low on oil too after about 4000 miles after I change it. The dipstick agrees, so I add 2 quarts and keep driving. It's been doing it since about 35,000 miles. Quality truck. ha ha.
