Default rough country 7.5/ bds 6 questions

ive been looking at doing a lift for a while asked some questions but just saw the RC 7.5 is 999 and the bds is 1800 what makes the bds 800 more. do you have to weld anything on the RC? the bds i know you do. whats different between the 2 and if you suggest the rc and upgrades or something let me know too. is the bds much better or are there more parts in the bds? thanks

The BDS is way better quality, enginnering and fit. Theres a reason the RC has a cheaper price, its cheaply made. Suspension lifts are not the place to cut corners. RC is better than it used to be but its still not the quality of a BDS, Rancho or Skyjacker kit.

If you go to the BDS site they have very good instructions on line.

Also, the BDS replaces your front strut with a new, longer one whereas the RC just stacks a big ass spacer on top of your stock strut. Also, the RC uses a huge 6.5 inch rear block. I have the BDS and love it. If I were to do it again though I would go either Fabtech or Cognito.
