Default 2007 Suburban - 2nd row seat automatic button and side lever do not release seat

    2007 Suburban

The passenger side 2nd row seat side lever and automatic button no longer release the seat so that the kids can quickly access the third row seats from the rear passenger door.

The release switch behind the seat and to the lower left/driver's side does release the seat and allows it to go forward.

Any ideas on cause of problem and cost to repair?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you brought this to the attention of your local dealer? There are many benefits to taking a vehicle to your local dealership. You can guarantee that technicians are certified and that the parts come with a GM parts warranty. For these reasons, I would recommend taking the vehicle to your local dealership to be diagnosed. They should be able to assist you further and have a plan for addressing the issue. I can also look into this issue further. In order to do more research, I will need some more specific information from you such as your name, address, phone number, the VIN for the vehicle, and current mileage. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me either on the thread or via private message. Thank you.

    Hi Tricia,

If you can answer my questions rather than redirecting me to a dealer or asking me for my personal information, it would be more appreciated. Respectfully, if I wanted to call Chevrolet help desk or go to a dealer, I would have done that already. Rather, I wanted to leverage the collective knowledge of the board's members rather than a Chevrolet employee.

    Regards.
