Towing a 24' enclosed car trailer??
Not too familair with towing. I have an 18' open trailer and have no problems towing it, but am looking at a 24' enclosed. Just was wondering if my 03 Tahoe can ahndle it. If so what all will be needed? I have the 5.3 and a 6000lbs (10,000 dist) hitch from UHaul. I know with the car I will be pushing the max on lbs, but dont know whats all involved or if the 1/2 will do the job. Thanks!

There's a weight label on the drivers door jam that will tell you what your vehicle is capable of hauling/towing. Just to be safe I would weigh the trailer & car that you'll be hauling & see if it comes in under what GM states on the label for towing capacity & GCVWR. If not don't do it. I'm sure many people have hauled more than what was acceptable, but if you're ever in a wreck & the cops suspect that you're overweight, they will weigh you & your liability factor is all downhill from there.1988 Chevy C-3500 2wd (no pic)
