Changing Diff Fluid....
I am going to be changing the diff fluid on my Wifes 2006 Dodge Ram 1500....it takes 75w-140 synthetic....the truck has limited slip and the bottles of oil state "limited slip"...so do I still need to add the limited slip additive?
Also is there a gasket or anything I need to replace while i am there usually?

I don't think you need the additive if it already says limited slip fluid. Also yes make sure you get the gasket!!!
Also get a few cans of break parts cleaner cuz while you have that rear pan of go ahead and spray that stuff in there and it will clean out all the grime and old oil.

Stoner what brand of gear oil are you going to use? Just interested in what other people use and if they have any particular reason for using that brand. I have heard a lot of good things about Amsoil products. I started using it in my Harley and do notice a little difference in hoe the motor runs.

Just did mine two weeks ago. I pulled the cover, cleaned everything up with brake cleaner. New gasket. Used a friction additive for my G80. Also did my front differential. Just a drain and fill.
