Default Remove Custom made Z71 Stickers or leave them Any suggestions let me know!!??

I have been wondering what my truck would look like with my Z71 stickers off even though a month or so ago i ordered some that match my rim's for only $20. I am curious because i have now debadged my whole truck and even took the panels off of my doors. My friends brother has a brand new 2012 chevy silverado LTZ 2500hd 6.6Liter turbo diesel that was custom ordered from the dealership has lift tires rims and everything else he asked for and has everything debadged on the truck and looks really clean. I will post a pic of my truck with the stickers on let me know what i should do will be very easy too take off!

    Thanks, Jake

I like the stickers. I removed my 4x4 sticker first thing when I got my truck home, but I didn't like the stock stickers. If it doesn't go with the overall truck, take em off. If you like em keep em.

Well like plenty people have said before on here my truck really isn't a Z71 anymore being that it has a lift on it lol. I might just spray some adhesive remover on them tomorrow and clean them up with some rubbing compound and follow with polishing compound that i bought today to finish up the panels. I need to get around to wash it and wax my truck after and update my pic's since i have old ones on there!

Well i did end up taking the Z71 stickers i had custom made taken off today was very easy compared to the stock ones they just peeled off and took them off by hand only took a few minutes. I will gover over the spots with rubbing compound and polish compound to even it out and take very little adhesive film that is left on. I still havent washed my truck or got it cleaned up. I have taken my cooper stt's off and put some nitto terra grapplers on 33 13.50's along with taking the door panels off and just got done taking the z71 stickers off i must say the truck looks way more cleaner than it did before ha. I will post pics after i give her a good wash and wax one day soon and post them in my profile Album!

I used Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover to take off the residue from my 4x4 stickers. Works great, and doesn't hurt the wax. Also works great on sap and other nasty stuff that gets stuck in the paint.

Yeah the rubbing compound and polishing compound did really well getting it looking like nothin was there and taking all the residue off. I got the truck cleaned up today with some Lucas spray detailer after i washed it and looks really good! My girlfriend bought me some of the Turtle Wax Black Box so i will be using it in the next few days and will take pics and have them on here posted!

I went ahead and took the z71 stickers off and cleaned the truck up with the rest of the residue off. I also went ahead and took my side panel moldings off and cleaned it up and looks really clean now. I will get it cleaned up and washed and waxed after the rain goes away and also just installed some notto se 10,000k low beams and will have pics soon. Thanks, JAke
